Book 2 : The Beauytful Ones Are Not Yet Born by Ayi Kwei Armah

Book 2 : Ayi Kwei Armah

Good Ones

Right there

Much like that

So enticing

Change is not needed

Just flow like always

Slow, slow

Right there

Keep calling

Till you reach me

A place where we can forget

Only till forever shall we remain

So, for now

Just keep it slow

Gone Naija Gone

I once saw the eagle

High above

Swimming in a stream of pride

A clear path to home

“Tell me why you missed the door?” the eagle asked..

“The green forest rests just ahead.”
