BLACK STARS

I am the black star

The gold that ignites the flame

See my shine, speak to God

My strides locked into life

Connecting dots and thoughts

I am the black gold

The star risen to shine

Bringing harmony

and calm

wherever I am

Harmony all around

Battle eyes finding rest

Axes washed and rinsed

Where’s the blood?

When I’m around

It’s all good times, you know

Times you never knew existed

Come within

Experience the sun

Black gold all lit up

Morning stance, nightly songs

Reaching minds far across

the axles of the world

Past the green orbit

Touching up to the tip of stars

We are the black gold of the sun

All present to remain everlasting

Golden Age of Life

What we do to live

To pass along hate?

Bring around spite?

Feel the rage?

Throw the fire?

Never burning with the fire?

For the pain only lasts

till the implosion begins

Creating the garden we all seek?

Every chance we get

To pass along the light

That heals the circle

Closer to the ring

Closer to unity, we fight

Closer to peace, we walk

When I walk

I go with the flow

Earth deep

Carved from the red soil

Wounds gaping within

Sealed with the blinds of pain

The dejection accepted

omegas destined to destroy

So please take out the blade

Bring out the sun child

Child stars born out of gold

Out of fire their shine will come

Spiritual State: Products of the Internet

This place, I know is where life meets dreams

Where darkness encounters light

The light ahead, the darkness behind

For a second, a chat ensues

Conversations through the skies

From parallel rocks, they come

From hinges and nails, they come

Lights, papers, screens, bottles

Words floating through the night

In air, from the lands of blue

To the bicycles and noodles

It all shows face

Real as they talk

This state is where pain meets kindness

Where the sun hits cold

Half full, or half empty

Crucial perspectives

Where’s your right?

Can you tell?

The apple, blood or black

Comes with a price

Pay with soul and remain a zombie

Another age, another stone

Sinner

Oh sinner, oh sinner

Where have you lost your grief?

Where have you kept your eyes?

You walk without dreaming

You walk as a man without a soul

Oh sinner, oh sinner

The son of man has paid for all

Christ is his name, the one from the father

Christ is his name, the bridge to the skies

Christ, is his name, the answer to earth’s cry

Oh sinner, oh sinner

You say you go tired of preaching

By day, you say all is dust to dust

By night, it’s all down to your knees

Oh sinner, oh sinner

When will you return home?

When will your eyes set onto the rising sun?

Spirits of One and Other

I lived this part of life

Now I’m reliving the memory

Don’t mind me

When I day dream

For it’s all in my past

Searching for my future

In the hands of gods

Water, skies and air

Yaaba (Grandma’s Love)

Bila et Yaaba

Living on ground

Yaaba walked

Bless the earth

Yaaba saw

Harvesting fruits

Yaaba planted

I am blessed

I am truly blessed

For the air I breathe

I am blessed

By Yaaba’s kindness

Her skin like the sun

Purifies my path

Shines my way

Bliss from Yaaba’s smiles

Leaves my soul full

Yaaba I love you

Till the rising of my soul

Till the rebirth of my spirit

I love you

For all the struggles you endured

I love you

For the night’s showers

I love you

Yaaba, your love

will last me

till I see my final light

Your strength

will find me

till I reunite with your glowing shine

Breathing

I am here

Full with life

Things move around

my own existence fulfilled

I breathe, I believe

Another day comes

And I’m here

Full with life

Trials and struggles move around

my own existence attained

I wish, I act

Come closer

And I’m here

Waiting for you

Morning Season

Visited the shrines

Not the wicked ones

Earth and my people’s way

Where heritage rested,

Where inheritance is found

There where seasons are made

From the moving of voice

To the pilgrimage of my people’s spirits

To the sun, I behold my life

Uyi’s Interlude

Life in a traffic jam

Rain drops on my laptop screen

Cool breeze from the heavens above

What more?

Soul in my lips

Words in my throat

Message to those that thirst

I find to give

Break locks to unlock

These days

These days radio blast shit

Turn off

Back to the musical essentials

History rewritten

For the forgotten ones

Sing me a tune

And I’ll play my harmony

Bless all earth

All souls waiting for life

These days

Soul in my lips

Words in my throat

Bark and I’ll ROAR back

up the tree of life

Cool breeze from the heavens above

Down it pours

Up I receive

Blessings from my people’s spirits

Gifts left to given back

I find to receive

Then it’s a full turn around

Back to giving what I had found

Seek me and you’ll find

me on the steps

Music essentials ringing

Harmony and blessings

To all who show face

My pieces and rags

Hold the gold

The key to releasing your mind

Simple World: In the Key of Blue

Their skin bounced back essence to the sun. All clothed in flowing dresses, they walked softly moving through the green thick forest. Animals from the regressed to the wild free stood still watching the people quietly breeze through. Silence all around. Where were they going?

Four seasons ago, their king had invoked the god’s anger into their land. Though long gone and buried, his sins was being paid with the blood of the young children of now. Fathers lost hope: farm lands empty with no farmer to fill the soil with seeds. Mothers prayed to the gods for their children to see the rising of the next day.

“The days of sorrow are here, god’s retributions will follow our people till the very ends of the world till a way, our way, is regained.”

We the new generation feel the pain of our long forgotten people in our very bones that is why most of us seek but do not find. We are kings and queens all looking for our misplaced crowns. We wear clothes but walk through life naked.

Listen to the cries of the lost warriors, on ships they laid, their bare skins pricking woods. Their faces peering through hoping to catch the sun before it settles.

You fight, we fight. The struggle remains. We are pharaohs looking for our ancient city.

The mad men of this world will not bring us answers for their souls has been quenched by the blackened black oil called greed. Look around no one has the path to our way, the few who do are locked in the trenches of man-made hell.

Seek, pursue.

Supplement but never compromise.

Life is one has we all are; unique enough to be distinguished from one another.

Differences never made the better man.

Wherever the head rest know the foundations have been mixed by elements that will remain till the coming of our way.

Yes, yes. Can I truly say the beayoutiful ones have not yet been born? Where is that generation that will be bring water to quench the thirst of my people? Are they here? Living amongst us. Or is greed, our greed killing every hope they hold.

I have no answers only a drive to seek my own.
