Here in this room
Hearing her essence flow out
Keeps me fearless
Yet utterly hopeless
Though subtle, her voice
so strong fills the air up
Leaving me no space for pretence

That’s not Jesus, Its Jimi Hendrix
Hear the trees singing
Drifting on and on
Swaying, it’s a swirling frenzy
Out their roots, walking on foot
Yeah, it’s Jimi
Back again, with a hat full of leaves
Now ladies and hipsters alike
Here’s the man of the night
Set the fire up high
The clouds above
Full with souls of possibilities
Towers falling, anger recharged
Through the kite, I see
Hearts dance like salt to worms
Weird weird
Word to mouth, escalating to a crescendo
Yeah I’m back
Again with a preacher tongue
The sky’s falling
So fast, I’m digging a grave
To dissipate with the incoming grief
Weird weird
Word to mouth, escalating to a crescendo
Yeah I’m back again
At the turn of the century
Raging seas, bleeding ice
Paint red and it’s called bloody
Sounds forming, mouth watering
Eyes filtered, pouches replenishing
Mighty below, a fight’s about to come on
Understand, our world is a mess
Houses burning, all around us
It’s a mess, but I’m Jimi
Back again to relieve you from stress
GRAND FINALE: EARTH
Silence as the mourners pass through
Straight ahead a cross shines
Up in the sky, clouds all filled
Blasting loud; thunder strikes
Lighting closely behind
Below the mourners fill up the soil
Their tears before the rain drops
Who died? Who died?
Caskets fill up mid high
Some gold, others wood
The church bells ring in a distance
Horses slowly stride, the mourners behind
Look up again, the darkened sky
Listen once more, those bells cry like fallen angels
Yeah, yeah
Hell on earth, heaven ascended
The beasts roar encompasses the mind
All through the box and cube box
Silence is now the only revival
Silence away from hell bound melodies
The rapture abounds, all to be seen
On the throne rest the reflected light
Coated in gold alongside them false prophets
Salvation and peace removed
Replaced with diamonds and universal coins
The saving grace gone from our mind
Deceiving all with the reflecting trinity
That light that never passes through heart
That sound that brings eternal sleep
Dare sleep, and you may very well roast
Dare sleep, and you may very well die: soulless
Zoom in and be great
Get a grip and clear the smoke screen
The falsehood passed for childhood
Making the young thirst, the old bleed regret
So, remove panic, you never can know it all
But the book of eternal living is there for all
So no more blindness of mind
For the prince of skies has returned
Run and you might get caught empty
Fight and you might come out
with a thin thread called soul
*life, fin, Immortality
Knock Knock!
Who’s there?
GORILLA X
Back again, wiser
Older with a silver back
A trademark for no show
Slept on, but always repped for
A beast, a predator
Feeling myself like django
after the whips and chains
Now guess who’s back again?
Who’s back?
Guess who?
That’s right
GORILLA X
Battle Cries of Lost Dogs
Dog tags of lost ones
Laying eternal in this
sand storm called Sahara
Buried tears, heated bones
As the wind blows high
Hear the dead howl back words
Revenge on their tongues
As they walk back on sand
“There is war,” they cry
“There is a war going on”
A Conversation with an Apple
I hear it from the radio of now
From the cars on sale
Yes, hurry in, the zombies are coming
That’s what I see when an ad comes knocking at my door
Oh I see you, I say to it
I can clearly hear you, I continue
Come with me, just a little sprinkle, it whispers
Just a little bite, don’t worry debt is only for a second, it says
I know, you’re pretty, I tell it
But the things my pocket’s empty
Yeah dry, so dry it really sucks
So just go return to the darkness, I say
And let me count my losses
One, two, three
There goes the apple: running, when I collect back my stars
Resting State
When I’m gone
I’ll hear the sounds
Leaving earth alone
In my heaven I’ll rest
Away to the music of closed eyes
Vision gone, when I’m gone
A rebirth into my time
Oh when I’m gone
I’ll hear the cars down below
Never wishing to come back down
For my clock has only began
In my soul, I’ll awaken
Fading into my existence
Ring the bells, and tell my tale
Oh when I’m gone,
I’ll leave behind the pain of living
The sweetness of good living
Gone to taste the skies again
Filling the void with an aroma only the stars hold
When I’m gone, I’ll be gone
One and forever with my demise
Walls of the Benin Kingdom
Leave my walls alone
Take back your laws
Inside these walls
We stand: together
Your plans holds no ground here
Stop the tongue smiling,
We see your deceit;
Those eyes piled with bags of debts
Cartoon and Cereal
“I woke up in the sitting room
Embodied in the frame of a child
Mind locked, eyes barely shifting
Looking at the TV with my lunch
Jumping with the looney tune on screen
Going wild, mind going berserk”
“Coyote!! Coyote!! Coyote!!” shouts the farm- boy
“Here comes those eyes that seek death
How many times can one die and not die?
Still this beast, this predator
Has forty lives, like a ghost
He keeps coming back
Running through the streets
With a grenade in hand
Seeking to break the neck of the sneaky one
But every time, the same ending awaited him”
“Running coyote, wilding coyote,
Why do you keep going on?” the farm boy asks
“Come to this place,” the coyote replies
“This place, this rat piece of shit keeps sending me to
Come see the hell that reigns here
Come see the blood of people that smears here
Thirst dripping in the eyes of the lost souls
Their tongues cut, controlled by the fork
Licking the sweat off the succubus
Their young ones recycled, their minds come out ‘loose’
Bottom of the food chain; these people of the jungle
Their teeth blended alongside death
So ask me again why I seek freedom,” says the running coyote
“Ask me again, and I may very well lick your bones dry, dear farm boy”
Conventional Wisdom
Like a plague of killing bees
I run away from
a room full of the same thought
For evil is hard to distinguish when
Hearts all hold the same false light
