Afro Blue (III) (I know, lets go there one more time)

I have come back to you
My back is tired, my legs weak and full with dust
The desert was not kind, sand storms all about
Voices of women dragging me here and there
But a voice so smooth, so subtle, so crisp
Came into my mind and with speed I let them be
Back on feet, I continued my journey
Walk and walk, I did
My heart worked hard as the sun burned skin
My mind weak, fell
My bones deep dry, followed after it

In the sand, I laid waiting for death
But again it came, rich as the night
Blue as the sky, plump as the sea
Illuminating like the carving of your hips
Strikingly divine like the beauty that holds soul
That voice, it comes back, waking me up
With grace and energy, it fills me up
Rich in my strength, I stand, full up
I look back at the journey so far
Then with my flask now somehow filled with water
I move towards that saving muse
Beauty galore when I think of you
My hearts beats a bit more when I remember
The other times of life when we were
Kings and Queens of the land of the big waves
When we lived amongst our people
Without pain or strife
We honored our people with respect
As they did us, reward to all……….so and so

So my mind continues
Drifting on and on
Flowing with the flying sand
My taste is gone and my flask is again dry
But as I ponder about the coming of days
I look up to the waves of sand
There across from where I stand
There in the midst of the dust
There you stand, your blue garment flowing in the storm
Like a dream, I try to awaken from it
But I’m already awoken by your startling presence
There you are, back again for another life time with me
Rich as our love, souls met to be one

Afro Blue (II)

Let’s dream on, overlapping our lives with songs of soul
Let’s paint the great waves with our minds
Shading our faces with sweet delight
It’s rich, our love
The love that binds us well
It’s better this way
Our suffering makes the joy louder
Our pain makes the time we spend rewarding
It’s rich, our love
Your eyes binds me ever close
Woman of graced beauty
Woman blessed with seasoned life
So rich, your hair so black and thick
When you braid it, my hands carelessly go through
Through it, it goes, then to your neck it settles
Touching your neck, pricking softly
I can feel it, those hairs that raise up
Full with attention as I slide my hands through them
Ever so rich, that moment we stay in
Ever so enthralling, when our hearts combine
Reconnecting our lives from the times of old
Though we lost each other a season or two
We have again found our missing piece
One and two’s, some say
But it’s just one with you, I tell them

Enchantment (II)

What kind of game are we playing?
Lost and found in my blank sheets
There we go again drinking cheap wine
We’re broke, yet we build castles
So high they touch the tip of the stars
Experiences explored, it tastes so good
Finding new set of skills, performing art
Twisting legs, fingers locked
The sounds we make burns from room
Troubling our neighbors next door
But when have we ever cared for them?
Selfish ways, when it’s just you and me

Hey gorgeous, before we start again
Tell me what’s this taste on my tongue?
This sweet bite, this sweet sweet taste
What’s this sweet bite on my tongue?
This sweet bite that’s taking over my mind

The windows are open, swinging
The air’s just right
The breeze so cool and soft
Friends long gone and lost
Now it’s just you and me
The potion’s now in full effect
Our minds now entangled
Brings our souls a little bit closer
So just, its shinning pure gold
There’s no escape, I already tried

Enchanting, your spell has been cast
Sleep walking, I’m moving freely with your scent
Lately, passion easily comes strong
Sweetly, your lips taste of divine bliss
Skies full with stars, dreams full with you

Touch me and I’m gone
Lost, tucked deep into your scent
Free, no need for directions when I’m with you
Fire, the temperature’s scorching hot
Mesmerizing, the spell has been cast
Starved, I need your tender caring

DRIFTING ON AND ON

Walking paths, sleeping eyes
Lives roaming through without looking out
Suits fooling all about the essence of confidence
Lies when they speak
Courage is being true to yourself
Saying what’s on your soul
Tears or laughter, it’s that essence that rids fear
The fear to say who you are
I am here, for my mistakes are apparent
I am he, for my deeds are full with dirt
But through the gifts given to me
I will turn my hell into a place of living rest
A place where my child can lay head for the night

Forget fear, young ones
Drink it and grow in strength
Danger lurks, but lurks, it does only
Never leaving the shadow
You see, away it is
But you are here
Flesh on bones
Energy embodied
Life awakened
Sound composed
Tasting all things made of life

Child, my forthcoming soul
Though the earth has yet to feel your spirit
I see you, you see me
The better version of me
I see you, you see me
As I make ways for you
I will give you food to eat
So you may do the same for your own

Never leave your voice for others to steal
For the bite of sin is sweet, easy to follow
But the pain afterwards is everlasting
You might learn, but how soon though?
Not until you crash and burn
The skies forbid!
Years become seconds
Friends become munchers
Lies become truth(s)
But that’s what happens
When the cloud hides the rain
Saving the drops for the perfect day
Dragging the drops from the left to the right
It moves around making the sun seem far
Then the doom comes down with full rage
Tearing away your soul
So what good was it?
That one bite that could have never happened
That one lip, that one kiss, that one temptress
Those full grown breasts, those round luscious hips
Those thick thighs made from the forest of nativity

Ah! I rest my voice
For talk is meaningless without a dose of movement

So sleep tonight,
And know the morning comes
With its full attire
Black, gold, white, silver
All diamonds raging with blood
But aside my rumblings
Your way is your way
I have walked mine
So with patience, I talk
With hope, I hope you see my ways
And maybe with caution and free-loose both combined
You will choose the path that leads to immortality
Drift on, drift well my child
For today is a new life for me, a new world for you

Above the Sun

Where’s the soul going?
After our bodies have been dusted
Eternal beings living momentarily
Vanity searched, vanity acquired
But it’s all sand to the desert
A million there, a few spread out
Rumbling, waiting for the rainy days
When the wind comes, it seems like
The heat was just a mirage
Making fools of those who thirst,
But refused to reach further to the fountain
Where’s my thread, my soul, my whole?
The one I need to walk with, through this storm covered with dust

Tell Me a Tale

Plane dropped on the ground
From the north side of the sea
It rose, and like a bird, it flew
Soaring, wings spread out

Impossible I know, but mama

Rising with the winds

Free Loose

The phases of our lives dances
Like a mad man on juice
Jiving, rocking legs like no other
Certified insane
Freedom without bounds
The power to call forth
Your name without the need of receipts

Forever Floating

Resting on the wings of clouds
No dust, just eternal flows
Chilling, my mind’s renewed
Souls remaining, beings rejoicing
Choir singing, connecting
With all that remain
It’s called heaven for a reason
Down below, the stress excruciating
For a moment, close eyes and relieve
Create your moment of peace
Away from the world of pain
For a second close eyes and believe
Down below, the stress excruciating
Envision, take a dose of quiescence
Paint your mind with your own
Choose to call it whatever
But in it remain even for a moment
Enjoy the place where
Souls float, and stress is nowhere

I Mind

Show me your fears
I mind the troubles
As I fumble
Through your waves
It’s clear, it’s hazy
Roaring, you’re breaking
Disconnecting from the world
Disenchanting, your fairy tale is over
Crack a bone, and feel the pain
A lick will do
Right on the naval base
Frequency acquired
Currency entitled
Evenly so tender
We’re peaking
Tickling with our hands
Down, up
We’re working our bodies
Making a feast
Riding with the pace
Slowly it’s dissolving
Our hearts, burning
Into a melt down
Forcing, entering
I’m diluting your mind
With my sweet sweet tongue
So show me your hands
And I’ll give you a good long bite
